Salomae has a PhD in Business Management, and over 17 years of experience as a thought leader, consulting large conglomerates as well as the non-profit sector.

With a degree in Leadership & Change Management from Duquesne University, she brings nearly two decades of experience in the non-profit sector to her role. In 2017, Carrera founded I Heart HR, offering consultation to sectors including retail, education, non-profit, and mental health, driven by a deep passion for people and a mission to use her skills for community betterment. She believes strongly in the power of investing in people as the cornerstone of organizational success.
